Very welcoming to newcomers.
However, with people who are in Interfaith relationships, the people who have no knowledge of the Jewish upbringing and what it is all about are a bit lost and overwhelmed.
When we are going from page to page, it would be helpful for someone to say "Middle of page 18" or "Top of page 79".
When I went in with my (not Jewish), then fiancee' - now husband, I had to show him what songs we were singing and where we were reading in the book. And, honestly, there were some times where ever I had gotten lost. And I have been attending temple since before I had my Bat Mitzvah, many years ago.
I know that each temple does things they're own way, and that it will take some time for myself and my husband to get accommodated with the way that this temple does things.
Otherwise, a very pleasant experience. Very welcoming and warm to newcomers, which is nice.Added July 11, 2017 by Lisa Howard
